When on a call, you can create a conference call by adding a vendor or any other outside participant to a call. You can also call another party and speak to them while the first caller is on hold, then return to the first caller without connecting the two callers.
To add a third party to an active call, do the following:
Click Hold to place the current caller on hold.
Click Add Party. The dial pad appears.
In the dial pad, enter the third party number.
Click Call to start the call to the third party. Both the first caller and the third party are displayed in the agent adapter. You can put either of these parties on hold if needed. When a party is on hold they hear hold music but not your conversation.
After a third party is added, do one of the following:
Stay on the line to participate in the conference call, and then click Done when you are finished.
Click Done to leave the call and let the remaining participants complete the call without you. This option is available only if your administrator has configured it.
