All use of the Cloud Billing APIs is free of charge. The Cloud Billing APIs include:

• Cloud Billing Budget API
• Cloud Billing Account API
• Google Cloud Pricing API
• Cloud Billing Catalog API

Other services used with Cloud Billing tools

Some billing tools rely on other Google Cloud services to function. You might be charged for these services if you use them. For example:

• Anomalies detection and budgets and alerts are free to use for Google Cloud customers, but if you configure the (optional) programmatic notifications using Pub/Sub topics, you are charged the standard Pub/Sub prices for programmatic budget notifications and anomalies Pub/Sub notifications.
• Using BigQuery to store and analyze Cloud Billing usage and cost data typically incurs minimal fees. For more information, see BigQuery cost of use.
