We exclude identifying information\nfrom the customer insights report for those accounts that the customer\nidentified as personal accounts. For those accounts, you see `n/a` in the\ncolumns.\n\nReport frequency\n----------------\n\nThe daily reports are generated on a two-day delay, based on Pacific Time (PT).\nFor example, the report for June 1st is generated on June 3rd. The monthly\nreport is generated on the second calendar day of the subsequent month.\n\nCustomer incremental insights reports\n-------------------------------------\n\nOptionally, you can turn on customer incremental insights reports to get more\ndetailed versions of customer insights reports at the destination that you\nconfigured. Customer incremental insights reports contain all of the same\ninformation as customer insights reports, and also any usage from previous dates\nthat wasn't included in previous reports. You might encounter this if you report\nusage to Google late, or if there are issues with Google's internal billing\nprocesses that delay the reporting.\n\nWe strongly recommend that you turn on customer incremental insights reports,\nbecause they provide a more accurate picture of your customers' usage than\nnon-incremental customer insights reports, and aid your reconciliation of\nreported usage with the monthly disbursement reports.\n\n### Turn on customer incremental insights reports\n\n| **Note:** If you have enabled BigQuery export, no additional action is required to turn on customer incremental insights reports.\n\nTo turn on customer incremental insights reports in CSV Export, complete the\nfollowing steps:\n\n1. In Producer Portal, visit the\n [Reports page](https://console.cloud.google.com/producer-portal/partner-report).\n\n2. Under **Configure reports**, select the report destination for which you want\n to turn on customer incremental insights reports.\n\n3. Under **Reports to export** , select the **Customer incremental insights**\n checkbox.\n\n### Understand customer incremental insights reports\n\nThe following example shows how Cloud Marketplace handles usage that you\nreport late, after you've turned on customer incremental insights reports:\n\n1. On January 1, 2023, your customer uses your product, but you don't report all\n or part of their usage.\n\n2. On January 3, 2023, Cloud Marketplace generates a Customer incremental\n insights report that includes all known data for January 1, 2023. Because you\n didn't report the previous usage from January 1 to Google,\n Cloud Marketplace doesn't include that usage in this report.\n\n3. On January 10, 2023, you report the usage from January 1, 2023 that you\n previously didn't report.\n\n | **Caution:** If you didn't turn on Customer incremental insights reports, the Customer insights report that Cloud Marketplace generates doesn't include the newly-reported previous usage.\n\nIn this example, the report named `2023-01-09 Incremental Daily Insights` in CSV\nExport, or BigQuery table `marketplace_report.incremental_insights` with\n`_PARTITIONDATE` as `2023-01-09`, has a\ncolumn labeled `date`. One row has a value of `2023-01-01` for `date`, and the\nrest of the rows have a value of `2023-01-09` for `date`. You also see a new\ncolumn labeled `report_date`, which has a value of `2023-01-09` for all rows,\nindicating that this report is intended for January 9, 2023.\n| **Note:** Depending on how you use data from reports, you might want to update your integrations to account for the new `report_date` field.\n\nIf you want to track all usage of your products by a customer for a specific day\nor month, you may need to combine the rows for that day or month from across\nmultiple Customer incremental insights reports.\n| **Note:** For incremental monthly insights reports, like the usage data for June 2025, the naming conventions differ based on the export type. In a CSV export, the file will be named `2025-06-01 Incremental Monthly Insights`. In a BigQuery export, the data is in the table `marketplace_report.incremental_monthly_insights` with `_PARTITIONDATE` as `2025-07-01`.\n\nReport fields\n-------------\n\nThe sales report contains the following information, starting from\nJuly 13, 2018:\n\n| **Note** : You might see different values for usage in the customer insights report and the detailed disbursement report. This difference is because the detailed disbursement report includes usage that was *reported* by the service during the covered month, while the customer insights report includes usage that *started* during the month. This can result in different numbers when the usage occurs at the end of a month.\n|\n| For example, if a customer starts\n| using your software on March 31 at 10 PM PT, and ends on April 1 at 3 AM,\n| the 5 hours of usage are reported on April 1, and are shown on April's\n| detailed disbursement report. However, because the usage started in March, it's shown\n| in the customer insights report for March.\n|\n| The difference in calculation ensures that if a usage report from your\n| service or one of Google's services is delayed, you're still paid the\n| correct amount.\n\nAdditional information for private offers\n-----------------------------------------\n\nIf you've [created private offers](/marketplace/docs/partners/offers) for\nspecific customers, you might see the following additional information:\n\nAdditional information for resold products\n------------------------------------------\n\nIf you've\n[enabled reselling for your Cloud Marketplace products](/marketplace/docs/partners/resell/set-up-reselling),\nyou might see the following additional information:\n\nAdditional information for the agency transaction model\n-------------------------------------------------------\n\n| **Note:** As we add features and make improvements to Cloud Marketplace, we add columns as needed to existing reports. If you set up any automated processing of your reports, you should configure it so that it operates based on the names of the columns, and doesn't depend on the total number of columns staying the same."]]
