This article describes how to review and publish a private offer in Producer Portal.
Before you begin
Before you review and publish your offer, you must complete the following steps in Producer Portal:
Add customer and product details to the offer.
Set up pricing for your offer.
Specify the legal terms for your offer.
Review your offer
To review your offer:
In Producer Portal, navigate to the private offer that you're creating.
Confirm the details of your offer. You don't see a calculated value for Deal Vendor Net Revenue Percentage, but the calculated value appears after you publish the offer.
To see how the offer displays to the customer, click More actions. In the menu that appears, click See customer's view.
Publish your offer
For some offers, Cloud Marketplace requires that Google review and approve the offer before you publish it. This might take up to 24 hours. To see whether Google must review your offer, navigate to the offer in Producer Portal. If the Vendor Net Revenue Schedule applies to the offer, then Google must review and approve the offer if the following criteria are true:
- The total contract value (TCV) is greater than US$10,000,000.
- When the offer is created, the deal type field has one of the following
values:
native renewal
channel shift
migration
If Cloud Marketplace requires that Google review and approve your offer,
you see a Continue button. To submit your offer for review, click the
Continue button. After you've clicked the button, the offer's status changes
to Pending Google Approval
until Google reviews the offer. After Google has
reviewed and approved your offer, the offer's status changes to Created
.
If Cloud Marketplace doesn't require that Google review and approve your offer, you see a Publish button. To publish your offer, click the Publish button. The offer publishes immediately after you click the button.
View the offer's revenue share
After you publish the offer, the applicable revenue share appears in the Deal Vendor Net Revenue Percentage field. For offers with auto-renew turned on, the Auto-renew section shows the revenue share that applies to the renewal term of the offer after the offer automatically renews.
