This article describes steps to deprecate a published Google Cloud Marketplace product. After you deprecate a product, the product's Cloud Marketplace listing is permanently deleted, and customers can't purchase, subscribe to, or deploy the product.
Request deprecation of your product
To request deprecation of a product that you offer through Cloud Marketplace, complete the following steps:
In Producer Portal, navigate to your product's Cloud Marketplace listing.
Click to begin editing your published product.
Click the
button. In the dropdown menu that appears, select Deprecate product.Fill out the form that appears. You must include the following information:
The date on which you want your product to be deprecated.
The reason that you want to deprecate your product. Your customers don't see what you input here.
Under Confirm decision, in the text input field, type the listing ID of the product that you want to deprecate, and then click Submit deprecation request.
After you've submitted a deprecation request, it might take up to five business days for Google to review your request. After your request is reviewed, Google sends you a response.
Request to hide a product
In unusual cases where you want to hide your product from public Cloud Marketplace search results, but still allow customers to access it by visiting the URL of its product listing, you can request to turn off product searchability.
We recommend that you don't turn off product searchability. The Cloud Marketplace team individually reviews all requests to turn off product searchability.
To request to turn off product searchability, complete the following steps:
In Producer Portal, navigate to your product's Cloud Marketplace listing.
Click to begin editing your product's listing, and navigate to the Product details page.
Under Product metadata, click the Product searchable toggle to turn off product searchability.
