SYNOPSIS
gcloud alpha managed-kafka schema-registries update (SCHEMA_REGISTRY : --location=LOCATION) (--compatibility=COMPATIBILITY     | --mode=MODE) [GCLOUD_WIDE_FLAG]
EXAMPLES
Modify the mode of the schema registry to READONLY:
gcloud alpha managed-kafka schema-registries update --mode=READONLY

Modify the compatibility of the schema registry to BACKWARDS:

gcloud alpha managed-kafka schema-registries update --compatibility=BACKWARDS
POSITIONAL ARGUMENTS
Schema registry resource - The schema registry to create. The arguments in this group can be used to specify the attributes of this resource. (NOTE) Some attributes are not given arguments in this group but can be set in other ways.

To set the project attribute:

  • provide the argument schema_registry on the command line with a fully specified name;
  • provide the argument --project on the command line;
  • set the property core/project.

This must be specified.

SCHEMA_REGISTRY
ID of the schema_registry or fully qualified identifier for the schema_registry.

To set the schema_registry attribute:

  • provide the argument schema_registry on the command line.

This positional argument must be specified if any of the other arguments in this group are specified.

--location=LOCATION
ID of the location of the Managed Service for Apache Kafka resource. See https://cloud.google.com/managed-service-for-apache-kafka/docs/locations for a list of supported locations. To set the location attribute:
  • provide the argument schema_registry on the command line with a fully specified name;
  • provide the argument --location on the command line.
REQUIRED FLAGS
Exactly one of these must be specified:
--compatibility=COMPATIBILITY
The mode and compatibility of the schema registry.
--mode=MODE
The mode and compatibility of the schema registry.
GCLOUD WIDE FLAGS
These flags are available to all commands: --access-token-file, --account, --billing-project, --configuration, --flags-file, --flatten, --format, --help, --impersonate-service-account, --log-http, --project, --quiet, --trace-token, --user-output-enabled, --verbosity.
