Ensure that the latest version of gdcloud CLI and its components are
installed on your local workstation.
Update components
You can update all gdcloud CLI components to the latest version:
gdcloudcomponentsupdate
The output lists all components the command is about to update, and asks for
confirmation before proceeding. By default, this command updates all
components to their latest version.
Upgrade gdcloud CLI installation
To check whether your gdcloud CLI installation is using the latest
available version, complete the following steps:
Check your current gdcloud CLI version:
gdcloudversion
Note the version output.
Open the GDC console and, on the Welcome page, click
Download CLI Bundle. Note the latest version available from the prompt.
Compare your current version to the latest version available to download. If
necessary, download the latest gdcloud CLI bundle and
reinstall it to upgrade to the
latest available version.
