This document describes how to use the AI assistant in Vertex AI Studio to help you refine and generate prompts. AI assistant can speed up your prompt writing process.
Refine prompts
The AI assistant in Vertex AI Studio can help you refine your prompts based on your targeted results.
To refine prompts, do the following:
Open Vertex AI Studio and click Create prompt:
In the prompt box, add your prompt.
Click Submit.
Click auto_fix Refine prompt.
Enter feedback about what you'd like to change about the model's response to your prompt, or select one or more of the following prefilled feedback options:
- Make shorter
- Maker longer
- More professional
- More casual
Click Apply and run.
Repeat the process until you're satisfied with the model's response.
Generate prompts
Use the Vertex AI Studio AI prompt assistant to generate your prompts. Generating prompts can help you speed up the prompt-writing process.
To generate prompts, do the following:
Open Vertex AI Studio and click Create prompt:
In the prompt box, click Help me write.
Enter a description of what you would like your prompt to achieve. For example,
Music recommendation bot.Click Generate prompt.
Click Insert.
Click Submit.
If you aren't satisfied with the model's response, delete the prompt then repeat the process.
