You\ncan monitor status, manage access of your network across users, and access\nCBSD support resources. To sign in to the\nSAS Portal, go to the\n[SAS Portal](https://wirelessconnectivity.google.com/sas/welcome).\n\nCBSD configurations\n-------------------\n\nA [CBSD configuration](/spectrum-access-system/docs/key-terms#cbsd-config)\nis a set of registration parameters for a [CBSD](/spectrum-access-system/docs/key-terms#cbsd).\nThere are two types of configurations:\n\n- **Active:** the configuration that is currently registered with SAS.\n\n- **Inactive:** the configuration that reflects any changes made to the active configuration.\n Inactive configurations are in one of the following states:\n\n - **Draft:** the registration parameters are incomplete. For example, mandatory fields are missing.\n - **Ready for CPI:** a [Certified Professional Installer (CPI)](/spectrum-access-system/docs/key-terms#cpi) needs to validate and sign the registration parameters.\n - **Pending registration:** a CPI has validated and signed the registration parameters. SAS is waiting for the CBSD to send a registration request.\n\nCBSD configuration changes in the SAS Portal\n--------------------------------------------\n\nSAS always uses the values of the installation parameters sent by\nthe CBSD in the registration request. This overrides any\nparameters submitted through the SAS Portal or the\nSAS Portal API. Use the SAS Portal or the\nSAS Portal API to modify device parameters and remove\n`cpiSignatureData` from the registration request in your CBSD or\n[Domain Proxy (DP)](/spectrum-access-system/docs/key-terms#dp): `cpiSignatureData`.\n| **Important:** If the data source that the CBSD uses isn't complete, the registration is rejected. Data from the different sources are not merged.\n\nThe following table explains the installation parameters that are used in each case.\n\nFor more information about how to import and edit CBSD configurations, see\n[Manage CBSD configurations](/spectrum-access-system/docs/cbsd/manage-configurations).\n\nRegister a CBSD that needs CPI validation\n-----------------------------------------\n\nYou can use the SAS Portal to register a CBSD that\nneeds CPI validation by adding and signing a CBSD and then\nsending the registration request to SAS. For details, see the\nfollowing sections.\n\n### Add a CBSD\n\nIf you have Editor permissions, you can add a CBSD\nconfiguration from the map or table view in the SAS Portal. To add\na CBSD configuration, follow these steps:\n\n1. Go to the [SAS Portal](https://wirelessconnectivity.google.com/sas/).\n2. On the left, click **SAS Portal**.\n3. To add a new site, do one of the following.\n - To add a new site in map **Map view** :\n 1. Click add_location_alt **New site**.\n 2. Click anywhere in the map to add latitude and longitude.\n - To add a new site in table_chart **Table view** , click **Create CBSD**.\n4. On the right, click location_on **Location**.\n5. For **Location**, enter or verify the latitude and longitude.\n6. To add a device to the site, click add**Add**.\n7. To enter the CBSD configuration, click settings_input_antenna **New CBSD** .\n - If you have all the required fields for your CBSD type, click **Ready for CPI**.\n - If you don't have all the required information, click **Save** to save the configuration as a **Draft**.\n\n### Sign a CBSD (CPI only)\n\nIf you're a verified CPI, you can validate the installation parameters of a\nCBSD when you sign the\nCBSD configuration in the SAS Portal.\n\nTo validate the installation parameters of a CBSD, follow these steps:\n\n1. Go to the [SAS Portal](https://wirelessconnectivity.google.com/sas/).\n2. Click **View deployments**.\n3. If you have access to multiple deployments, select a deployment from the **Deployments** list, and then click **Open**.\n4. On the right, click settings **Settings** :\n - In map **Map view** , click compass_calibration **CBSD\n location marker**.\n - In table_chart **Table view**, click the row of the CBSD.\n5. Review the configuration to make sure that all the required fields are complete and correct.\n6. Click **Sign** . The CBSD configuration changes to **Pending registration**.\n\nIf any incorrect configuration is signed, you need to immediately fix the\ninformation and sign the new configuration. The new information does not take\neffect until the CBSD successfully re-registers. After\nre-registration, make sure that the **Active** configuration reflects the correct\ninformation.\n| **Important:** If you don't fix any incorrect information, you will lose your CPI certification.\n\nYou can [create new CBSD configurations in bulk](/spectrum-access-system/docs/cbsd/manage-configurations#start-import)\nwhen you import CBSD configurations. If you are a CPI, you can\ndirectly import signed CBSD configurations; otherwise, they\nappear in the SAS Portal in **Ready for CPI** status.\n\n### Send a registration request to SAS\n\nTo send a registration request, see your CBSD documentation. Some\nCBSDs send a registration request when they're turned on. The\nregistration request from the CBSD must *not include* any\ninstallation parameters.\n\nSAS uses the signed installation parameters of the\nCBSD configuration in the SAS Portal. The\nSAS Portal and CBSD registration request can\nprovide other parameters, such as Effective Isotropic Radiated Power (EIRP)\ncapability or antenna model. If this happens, SAS uses the values\nthat the CBSD sent in the registration request.\n\nAnalyze your network status\n---------------------------\n\nWith the Device dashboard, you can analyze the state of your network and apply\nfilters to show only the devices that you want to analyze.\n\nTo use the device dashboard, follow these steps:\n\n1. Go to the [SAS Portal](https://wirelessconnectivity.google.com/sas/).\n2. Optional: Click **View deployments**.\n3. Select the deployment, and then click **Open**.\n4. On the left, click dashboard **Dashboard view**.\n5. From the dashboard, you can do the following:\n - Review your network details.\n - Apply a filter. To apply a filter, select **View devices**.\n - Export data. To export data as a CSV or PNG, click more_vert **Menu** on the right of the graph.\n\nIntegrate with the SAS Portal API\n---------------------------------\n\nTo extend your network management system to manage the spectrum of your\nCBSDs connected to SAS, you can use the\nSAS Portal API. The SAS Portal API lets you use\nthe same functionalities as the SAS Portal.\n[Learn how to use the SAS Portal API](/spectrum-access-system/docs/overview-api).\n\nWhat's next\n-----------\n\n- Learn about [user roles](/spectrum-access-system/docs/users-sasportal).\n- Learn [how to verify your CPI identity](/spectrum-access-system/docs/validate-cpi-certification).\n- Learn about [Spectrum Access System](/spectrum-access-system/docs/overview).\n- Learn about [key SAS terms](/spectrum-access-system/docs/key-terms).\n- [Troubleshoot SAS issues](/spectrum-access-system/docs/troubleshooting)."]]
