Fungsi pemulihan mengembalikan data produksi ke titik waktu tertentu. Anda dapat memulihkan sistem file lokal, sistem file NFS yang dipetakan, atau sistem file SMB yang dipetakan ke host aslinya, dengan mengganti sistem file yang ada.
Pemulihan sistem file
Saat Anda memulihkan sistem file, perangkat cadangan/pemulihan:
Menggantikan file apa pun di disk produksi dengan versi dari image cadangan.
Menambahkan file apa pun yang ada di image cadangan ke disk produksi, meskipun file tersebut tidak lagi ada di disk produksi.
Membiarkan file apa pun di disk produksi yang tidak ada dalam image cadangan.
Dalam kasus yang jarang terjadi saat data produksi berada di disk atau di pool penyimpanan eksternal yang ditampilkan oleh alat pencadangan/pemulihan, pemulihan akan menggantikan seluruh volume atau perangkat blok, sehingga sistem file akan kembali ke kondisi persis seperti saat pencadangan: Semua file di disk produksi yang tidak ada dalam image cadangan tidak akan ada lagi di disk produksi setelah pemulihan.
Durasi waktu yang diperlukan untuk menyelesaikan operasi pemulihan bergantung pada jumlah data yang terlibat.
Memulihkan sistem file
Gunakan petunjuk ini untuk memulihkan sistem file dari image cadangan.
Dari konsol pengelolaan Layanan Pencadangan dan DR, klik
Pengelola Aplikasi, lalu pilih Aplikasi dari menu drop-down.
Halaman Applications akan terbuka.
Pilih gambar yang ingin Anda pulihkan, lalu pilih Akses dari
daftar drop-down di bagian bawah halaman Aplikasi.
Halaman Akses akan terbuka dan mencantumkan gambar yang diambil dalam tampilan ramp linimasa.

Dialog peringatan akan terbuka.
Baca, lalu masukkan DATA LOSS untuk mengonfirmasi.
Bergantung pada konfigurasi Anda, peringatan kedua mungkin muncul. Jika ya,
Anda harus memasukkan OVERWRITE OTHER APPS untuk mengonfirmasi operasi pemulihan.
Tugas pemulihan dimulai. Anda dapat memverifikasi bahwa operasi pemulihan berhasil dengan melihat status tugas di Monitor.
Memulihkan sistem file SMB yang dipetakan
Gunakan petunjuk ini untuk memulihkan image sistem file SMB yang dipetakan ke titik waktu tertentu.
Dari konsol pengelolaan Layanan Pencadangan dan DR, klik
Pengelola Aplikasi, lalu pilih Aplikasi dari menu drop-down.
Halaman Applications akan terbuka.
Pilih gambar yang dipetakan yang ingin Anda pulihkan.
Pilih Akses dari daftar drop-down.
Halaman Akses akan terbuka dan menampilkan gambar yang diambil di tampilan ramp linimasa. Untuk mengetahui informasi selengkapnya tentang tampilan, lihat Mengakses tampilan ramp linimasa gambar.
Pilih gambar, lalu pilih Pulihkan dari daftar operasi akses.
Halaman Restore akan terbuka.
Pilih satu volume atau beberapa volume yang akan dipulihkan. Secara default, semua volume dipilih.
Klik Kirim.
Dialog peringatan akan muncul.
Baca dialog, lalu masukkan DATA LOSS untuk mengonfirmasi.
Bergantung pada konfigurasi Anda, peringatan kedua mungkin muncul. Jika ya,
