Gunakan wizard orientasi untuk menemukan virtual machine (VM) VMware yang dikelola oleh vCenter atau oleh server ESXi individual. Setelah menemukan satu atau beberapa
aplikasi, Anda dapat melindungi semuanya sekaligus dengan menerapkan template pencadangan
dan profil atau menambahkannya ke daftar aplikasi sebagai VM yang tidak dikelola atau diabaikan.
Untuk menemukan dan melindungi VM VMware:
Di konsol pengelolaan, klik menu drop-down App Manager dan
pilih Applications.
Klik Add Application.
Pilih VMware Engine.
Klik Add New Server untuk menambahkan vCenter atau server ESXi.
Pilih server vCenter atau ESXi tempat Anda ingin melakukan penemuan VM, lalu klik Next dari daftar server.
Di halaman Kelola, daftar VM akan muncul. Pilih VM untuk ditemukan, lalu klik Berikutnya.
Terapkan template dan profil kebijakan ke instance Compute Engine:
Pilih satu atau beberapa VM yang ingin Anda lindungi.
Pilih Terapkan Rencana Cadangan.
Pilih Terapkan Rencana Pencadangan dari menu drop-down Pilih tindakan.
Menu drop-down Pilih template akan terbuka.
Pilih template dari menu drop-down Pilih template.
Menu drop-down Pilih profil akan terbuka.
Klik Oke.
Klik Setelan Aplikasi untuk setiap VM dalam daftar guna membuat perubahan pada
konfigurasi default.
Jika ada beberapa VM dan Anda ingin membuat perubahan yang sama pada
semua VM, klik tentukan setelan untuk semua aplikasi dan buat
perubahan yang diperlukan.
Klik Berikutnya.
Tinjau layar ringkasan. Jika semuanya sudah benar, klik Selesai
untuk menyelesaikan proses orientasi. VM yang dipilih dicadangkan berdasarkan
template kebijakan yang Anda pilih.
Setelah orientasi selesai, dialog akan muncul. Klik Finish lagi.
Setelah template kebijakan dilampirkan ke VM yang dipilih, statusnya akan berubah
menjadi tanda centang.
Tanda centang menunjukkan bahwa VM Anda siap menjalankan tugas pencadangan
sesuai jadwal berdasarkan kebijakan. Jika Anda ingin segera menjalankan tugas,
lihat Menjalankan tugas on-demand.
Menambahkan server
Jika server vCenter atau ESXi yang diinginkan tidak ada dalam daftar server,
tambahkan VCenter atau ESXi sebagai server baru menggunakan petunjuk berikut.
Klik Tambahkan Server Baru.
Untuk Jenis, biarkan vCenter, default, atau pilih ESXi.
Tambahkan nama host dan jalur yang mudah diingat untuk host di Nama host.
Nama host harus diawali dengan huruf, dan berisi huruf,
angka (0-9), dan garis bawah (_).
Masukkan alamat IP host di kolom Alamat IP.
Secara opsional, Anda dapat memasukkan nomor port—jika tidak menggunakan
nomor port default—di kolom Port.
Masukkan kredensial login untuk autentikasi di kolom Nama Pengguna dan
Sandi.
Pilih satu atau beberapa appliance pencadangan/pemulihan tempat Anda ingin menambahkan
server dari checklist Appliance.
Klik Tambahkan untuk menambahkan server baru.
Jika informasi yang diberikan salah, Anda akan melihat pesan error dan server baru tidak akan ditambahkan.

Select **Apply Backup Plan**.\n\n 3. Select **Apply Backup Plan** from the **Choose action** drop-down list.\n\n The **Choose template** drop-down list opens.\n 4. Select a template from the **Choose template** drop-down list.\n\n The **Choose profile** drop-down list opens.\n 5. Click **OK**.\n\n8. Review the summary screen. If everything is correct, click **Finish**\n to complete the onboarding process. The selected VMs are backed up based on the\n policy template that you select.\n\n12. After onboarding is complete, a dialog appears. Click **Finish** again.\n\n Once the policy template is attached to the selected VMs, the status changes\n to a check mark.\n\n The check mark indicates that your VMs are ready to run a backup job\n within the schedule by the policy. If you want to run the job immediately,\n see [Run on-demand job](/backup-disaster-recovery/docs/monitor-reports/monitor-jobs#run).\n\nAdd a server\n------------\n\nIn case the vCenter or ESXi server of interest isn't in the server list,\nadd the VCenter or ESXi as new server using the following instructions.\n\n1. Click **Add New Server**.\n\n2. For **Type**, keep vCenter, the default, or select ESXi.\n\n3. Add the hostname and a friendly path for the host in **Hostname** .\n The name of the host must start with a letter, and contain letters,\n digits (0-9), and an underscore (*_*).\n\n4. Enter the IP address of the host in the **IP Address** field.\n\n5. Optionally, you can enter the port number---if you aren't using\n the default port number---in the **Port** field.\n\n | **Note:** The default management port is 443.\n6. Enter the login credentials for authentication in the **Username** and\n **Password** fields.\n\n7. Select one or more backup/recovery appliances where you want to add the\n server from the **Appliance(s)** checklist.\n\n8.
