However, as part of the setup\nprocess, you must complete several tasks. You complete some tasks before Google provisions your\nconnection and some tasks afterward.\n\nThese tasks include the following:\n\n1. [Choose your locations](/network-connectivity/docs/interconnect/how-to/cci/azure/choose-locations)\n\n Identify locations for your primary and redundant Cross-Cloud Interconnect and\n Azure ports. Make a note of the location names. You need these details to\n complete the ordering and configuration processes.\n2. [Order\n Cross-Cloud Interconnect connections](/network-connectivity/docs/interconnect/how-to/cci/azure/order-google-connections)\n\n Place an order for two\n Cross-Cloud Interconnect connections---a primary connection and a redundant\n one. In response, Google reserves two ports for you in the facility that you specify. For each\n port, we send you a confirmation email that contains instructions related to the next step:\n ordering your Azure ports.\n3. [Order\n Azure ports](/network-connectivity/docs/interconnect/how-to/cci/\n azure/order-azure-ports)\n\n Order your Azure ports, and download the\n corresponding letter of authorization (LOA). This document confirms your right to use the ports.\n Send the LOA to Google, following the instructions from the confirmation email that Google sent\n you. After Google receives the LOA, we begin the process of establishing your\n connections.\n4. [Configure\n your Google Cloud resources](/network-connectivity/docs/interconnect/how-to/cci/azure/configure-google-resources)\n\n Complete the required configuration in\n Google Cloud. First, create a redundant set of VLAN attachments in your\n Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) network. Each VLAN attachment represents a logical connection between a\n region in your VPC network and your Azure resources. Then, for\n each VLAN attachment, use a Cloud Router to configure a Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) peering\n session.\n5. [Configure your Azure resources](/network-connectivity/docs/interconnect/how-to/cci/azure/configure-azure)\n\n Configure your Azure resources. This step\n includes creating an ExpressRoute circuit, creating a private peering, and completing other tasks.\n6. [Verify your connections](/network-connectivity/docs/interconnect/how-to/cci/azure/test-connections)\n\n Follow the recommended steps to verify that your networks are connected.\n\nYou can also use Cross-Cloud Interconnect to connect to other cloud service providers.\nFor more information, see the\n[Supported cloud providers](/network-connectivity/docs/interconnect/concepts/cci-overview#supported-cloud-service-providers)\nsection in the Cross-Cloud Interconnect overview."]]
