Dataproc Metastore menggunakan saluran rilis untuk menggabungkan fitur dengan berbagai tingkat stabilitas. Saluran rilis memungkinkan Anda memilih antara fitur stabil dan fitur eksperimental yang lebih baru. Anda dapat memilih saluran rilis
saat membuat layanan Dataproc Metastore.
Jenis saluran rilis
Ada dua jenis saluran rilis:
Canary: Saluran rilis Canary berisi fitur terbaru, yang mungkin tidak stabil dan memiliki masalah yang belum terselesaikan tanpa solusi yang diketahui.
Layanan yang menggunakan Canary tidak tunduk pada SLA apa pun.
Stabil: Saluran rilis Stable berisi fitur yang dianggap stabil dan telah divalidasi untuk penggunaan produksi.
Jika Anda tidak menentukan channel, layanan Dataproc Metastore baru akan dibuat dengan nilai
Stable. Jika Anda memilih saluran rilis Canary, Anda akan otomatis menerima fitur yang lebih baru.
