To offer a Terraform Kubernetes app through Google Cloud Marketplace, add a product in Producer Portal which represents your app's in-progress Cloud Marketplace listing.
Before you begin
- To get access to Producer Portal, ensure that you've completed the Cloud Marketplace Project Info Form.
- Verify that you've set up your Google Cloud environment and prepared your Terraform Kubernetes app for Cloud Marketplace.
Add your product in the portal
To offer your Terraform Kubernetes app through Cloud Marketplace, create a corresponding product in Producer Portal.
To create your product, complete the following steps:
Click Add product.
Under Product type, select Terraform Kubernetes app.
Specify your product's Product name.
Specify your product's Product ID. This is a unique identifier for your product, used only for referencing your changes, and your customers can't see it.
Certify that your product complies with the Cloud Marketplace listing requirements and the requirements for Terraform Kubernetes apps.
Click Create. It might take a few seconds to create your product.
Add product details
The product details include your product listing on Cloud Marketplace, marketing information, and links to documentation. You add these in Producer Portal.
In Producer Portal, on the Overview page of your product, go to the Product details section and click Edit.
Complete the Product info tab of the Product details section. While completing Product info, you can add Category IDs. Category IDs let customers find your product under select categories or filters as they search Cloud Marketplace. You can select up to two Category IDs for a product.
To add tutorials, documentation, and, optionally, additional license agreements, complete the Documentation tab of the Product details section.
To add search metadata or keywords, or to customize the URL of the details page for your product, complete the Product metadata tab of the Product details section.
Cloud Marketplace might require additional approvals for some categories of products. If you want to add your solution listing to a category that isn't listed in Producer Portal, submit a request by using the special category request form.
Submit your app's product details for review
To submit your app's product details for review, in Producer Portal, navigate to your app's Product details section and click Submit.
It takes approximately two to five days for the Partner Engineering team to review and approve your product details.
