Dataproc Metastore verwendet Releasekanäle, um Features mit unterschiedlicher Stabilität zu bündeln. Mit Releasekanälen können Sie zwischen stabilen Features und neueren experimentellen Features wählen. Sie können die Releasekanäle auswählen, wenn Sie einen Dataproc Metastore-Dienst erstellen.
Arten von Release-Versionen
Es gibt zwei Arten von Release-Channels:
Canary: Der Canary-Release-Channel enthält die neuesten Funktionen, die möglicherweise instabil sind und ungelöste Probleme ohne bekannte Abhilfemaßnahmen haben.
Für Dienste, die Canary verwenden, gelten keine SLAs.
Stabil: Der Releasekanal Stable enthält Funktionen, die als stabil gelten und für Produktionsumgebungen validiert wurden.
Wenn Sie keinen Kanal angeben, werden neue Dataproc Metastore-Dienste mit dem Wert Stable erstellt. Wenn Sie den Releasekanal Canary auswählen, erhalten Sie automatisch die neueren Features.

Canary
Enthält die Funktion zum Ausführen der asynchronen Hintergrundaufgaben wie der ACID-Kompression unabhängig vom Hive-Metastore. Dadurch werden Ressourcen für die Ausführung weiterer Hive Metastore-Aufgaben freigegeben. Dieses Vorschau-Feature ist nur für Hive-Version 3.1.2 Enterprise verfügbar.
