A project and its service-level resources are always paid\nfor by a Cloud Billing account.\n\nWhen you first set up your Cloud Billing account, you create a\n[self-serve, automatically paid, account](/billing/docs/concepts#billing_account_types).\nYou might be eligible to switch your account type to\n[monthly invoiced billing](/billing/docs/concepts#billing_account_types)\nif your business meets certain requirements.
