Perform the following steps:\n\n1. In the console, go to the **Topics** page.\n\n [Go to Topics](https://console.cloud.google.com/cloudpubsub/topic/list)\n2. Click the Amazon MSK import topic that you want to troubleshoot.\n\n3. In the topic details page, click the **Metrics** tab.\n\n4. Check the chart for the metric **Ingestion byte count**.\n\n5. If no data is being ingested, in the topic details page,\n check to see if there is an error for the **Topic state** field.\n\n6. You can also check the metric **Ingestion data source state** .\n To do so, in the topic details page, click the **Metrics** tab.\n\n7.
