Learn about Database Center using Gemini

You can learn about Google Cloud database products by entering prompts into Gemini about the following:

  • Database Center concepts. For example, you can prompt Gemini to provide guidance about how Database Center measures your database fleet health.

Before you begin

Use Gemini to learn about fleet health issues

To use Gemini to learn more about database fleet health issues and Database Center, follow these steps:

  1. In the Google Cloud console, go to the Database Center page.

  2. To open Gemini, click spark Gemini.

  3. Click Start chatting.

  4. In the Gemini chat enter a prompt, for example, What is a database fleet?

  5. To send the prompt, click Send. Gemini returns a response similar to the following:

    A database fleet consists of all the provisioned resources across all Google Cloud database products that your organization uses. Resources are the clusters, instances, and virtual machines that power your workloads. Database Center supports Cloud SQL for MySQL, Cloud SQL for PostgreSQL, and AlloyDB.
