Google Cloud Layanan Pencadangan dan DR secara rutin merilis update untuk perangkat pencadangan/pemulihan,
yang mencakup perbaikan bug, patch keamanan, dan peningkatan.
Sebagian besar update bersifat otomatis dan tidak memerlukan tindakan pengguna. Namun, beberapa
update mengharuskan Anda mengupdate appliance pencadangan/pemulihan secara manual.
Seperti yang dijelaskan dalam Google Cloud Panduan Layanan Dukungan Pencadangan dan DR,
Layanan Pencadangan dan DR hanya mendukung versi saat ini (n) dari appliance pencadangan/pemulihan
dan satu versi yang langsung mendahului rilis saat ini (n-1) dengan perbaikan bug
dan patch. Appliance pencadangan/pemulihan sebelum versi (n-1) tidak
didukung.
Layanan Pencadangan dan DR akan memberi tahu Anda tentang update yang tersedia untuk
perangkat pencadangan/pemulihan melalui notifikasi dalam produk di konsol
pengelolaan. Anda juga dapat memeriksa status update perangkat di halaman
Perangkat pada kolom Status Update.
Agar perangkat pencadangan/pemulihan Anda selalu mendapatkan update terbaru, update perangkat ke versi terbaru
yang tersedia saat perangkat dalam status Tertunda atau Terlambat.
Jika Anda tidak mengupdate perangkat pencadangan/pemulihan secara rutin, statusnya
akan berubah menjadi Tidak didukung. Dalam status ini, Anda dibatasi untuk mengaktifkan pencadangan pada entitas atau aplikasi baru hingga Anda menginstal update.
Berikut adalah kemungkinan statusnya:
Terbaru: menunjukkan bahwa appliance berjalan pada versi terbaru
dan tidak perlu melakukan tindakan apa pun.
Tertunda: menunjukkan bahwa perangkat memiliki update baru yang tersedia untuk diinstal.
Untuk menginstal update, buka Kelola>Update Perangkat.
Terlambat: menunjukkan bahwa appliance berjalan pada versi sebelumnya dan harus
segera diupdate. Untuk menginstal update, buka Kelola>Update Appliance.
Tidak didukung: menunjukkan bahwa versi appliance lebih lama dari
versi yang didukung dan harus segera diupdate. Anda tidak dapat mencadangkan
entitas atau aplikasi baru hingga mengupdate appliance pencadangan/pemulihan ke
versi yang didukung. Cadangan yang ada akan terus berjalan sesuai jadwal dan gambar cadangan yang ada dapat dipulihkan.
