Method: organizations.locations.logScopes.patch

Updates a log scope.

PATCH https://logging.googleapis.com/v2/{logScope.name=organizations/*/locations/*/logScopes/*}

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

logScope.name

string

Output only. The resource name of the log scope.

Log scopes are only available in the global location. For example:

projects/my-project/locations/global/logScopes/my-log-scope

Query parameters

updateMask

string (FieldMask format)

Optional. Field mask that specifies the fields in logScope that need an update. A field will be overwritten if, and only if, it is in the update mask. name and output only fields cannot be updated.

For example: updateMask=description

This is a comma-separated list of fully qualified names of fields. Example: "user.displayName,photo".

Request body

The request body contains an instance of LogScope.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of LogScope.

Authorization scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/logging.admin
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
