本文档介绍了如何将数据源与 Dataplex Universal Catalog 集成。Dataplex Universal Catalog 可以导入和维护 Google Cloud 数据源中的最新元数据。

注入元数据后，Dataplex Universal Catalog 会执行以下操作：

准备工作

Sign in to your Google Cloud account. If you're new to Google Cloud, create an account to evaluate how our products perform in real-world scenarios. New customers also get $300 in free credits to run, test, and deploy workloads.

In the Google Cloud console, on the project selector page, select or create a Google Cloud project.

Roles required to select or create a project

• Select a project: Selecting a project doesn't require a specific IAM role—you can select any project that you've been granted a role on.
• Create a project: To create a project, you need the Project Creator (roles/resourcemanager.projectCreator), which contains the resourcemanager.projects.create permission. Learn how to grant roles.

Verify that billing is enabled for your Google Cloud project.

Enable the Dataplex API.

Roles required to enable APIs

To enable APIs, you need the Service Usage Admin IAM role (roles/serviceusage.serviceUsageAdmin), which contains the serviceusage.services.enable permission. Learn how to grant roles.

集成 Cloud SQL

在在 Cloud SQL 实例上启用 Dataplex Universal Catalog 集成后，Dataplex Universal Catalog 会自动从 Cloud SQL 资源（包括实例、数据库、表、列和视图）中检索元数据。

Dataplex Universal Catalog 只会从 Cloud SQL 主实例中检索元数据，而不会从读取副本中检索元数据。
