Method: projects.instances.materializedViews.delete

Deletes a materialized view from an instance.

DELETE https://bigtableadmin.googleapis.com/v2/{name=projects/*/instances/*/materializedViews/*}

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
name

string

Required. The unique name of the materialized view to be deleted. Format: projects/{project}/instances/{instance}/materializedViews/{materializedView}.

Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource name:

  • bigtable.materializedViews.delete

Query parameters

etag

string

Optional. The current etag of the materialized view. If an etag is provided and does not match the current etag of the materialized view, deletion will be blocked and an ABORTED error will be returned.

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body is an empty JSON object.
