VMware-VMs mit VMware HCX migrieren
Auf dieser Seite wird beschrieben, wie Sie mithilfe von VMware HCX Ihre virtuellen Maschinen (VMs) von Ihrer VMware-Umgebung zu Google Cloud VMware Engine migrieren können. VMware HCX abstrahiert vSphere-basierte Ressourcen in Ihrer VMware-Umgebung und Cloud-Ressourcen und stellt sie Anwendungen als einheitliche Ressource zur Verfügung, wodurch eine Hybridinfrastruktur entsteht.
Hinweise
Die lokal verwendeten VMware-Produktversionen müssen vom ausgewählten Migrationstyp (Live/Cold/Bulk) mit HCX unterstützt werden. Weitere Informationen zu vSphere-Quellversionen und den jeweils unterstützten HCX-Funktionen finden Sie in der VMware-Interoperabilitätsmatrix.

Bereitstellung einer Hybridinfrastrukturlösung mithilfe von VMWare HCX in Ihrer private Cloud
Zum Bereitstellen der HCX-Migrationslösung für Google Cloud VMware Engine sind folgende Schritte erforderlich:
Erstellen Sie eine private Cloud in Ihrer Google Cloud VMware Engine-Umgebung. Wenn Sie eine private Cloud erstellen, führt VMware Engine die folgenden Schritte für Sie aus:
Stellt die HCX Cloud Manager-Appliance im Systemverwaltungsnetzwerk und den Verwaltungsressourcenpool in Ihrer privaten Cloud bereit.
Konfiguriert HCX Cloud Manager mit den Informationen des Compute-Profils (Netzwerkpools).
Stellt eine Netzwerkverbindung zwischen den verschiedenen HCX-Service-Appliances und dem HCX Cloud Manager her.
Generiert einen Lizenz-Aktivierungsschlüssel und konfiguriert HCX Cloud Manager für die Verwendung.
Registriert den HCX Cloud Manager beim VMware HCX-Dienst.
Da HCX im Rahmen der Erstellung einer privaten Cloud automatisch bereitgestellt wird, müssen Sie keinen IP-Adressbereich für das Subnetz für HCX-Dienste angeben.
Netzwerk der VMware-Umgebung mit der Private Cloud verbinden
Fügen Sie die IP-Adressbereiche des VMware Engine-Subnetzes benutzerdefinierten Routen für den Cloud Router hinzu, der den Cloud Interconnect-Anhang beendet.
Installation von HCX Cloud Manager in Ihrer VMware-Umgebung vorbereiten
Bei Installationen von HCX 4.9.0 unterstützen HCX-Bereitstellungen Air-Gapped-Standorte, bei denen eingehende oder ausgehende Verbindungen zum oder vom Internet nicht zulässig sind. Weitere Informationen finden Sie unter Air-Gapped-Websites.
Laden Sie die HCX-Connector-OVA aus HCX Cloud Manager herunter.
Rufen Sie in der Google Cloud Console die Seite Private Clouds auf.
Klicken Sie auf die private Cloud, die Sie vorbereiten möchten.
Klicken Sie unter Management Appliances auf die URL für den HCX Cloud Manager.
Gehen Sie im HCX Cloud Manager zu Verwaltung > Systemupdates.
Klicken Sie auf Download-Link anfordern und laden Sie die OVA-Datei herunter.
Aktualisieren Sie HCX Cloud Manager auf die neueste Version der HCX Cloud Manager-Benutzeroberfläche.
Kopieren Sie einen Lizenzaktivierungsschlüssel für Ihren HCX-Connector.
Google Cloud Rufen Sie in der Console Private Clouds auf und wählen Sie Ihre private Cloud aus.
Gehen Sie zu HCX-Connector-Schlüssel > Ansicht.
Klicken Sie auf das Symbol „Kopieren“ content_copy, um den Schlüssel zu kopieren.
Sie sind dafür verantwortlich, kopierte Aktivierungsschlüssel zu speichern und zu verwalten.
Bei Bedarf können Sie einen neuen HCX-Aktivierungsschlüssel generieren. Klicken Sie dazu auf Zusätzlichen Schlüssel generieren.
Neu generierte Schlüssel benötigen einen Namen und werden an das Ende der herunterladbaren Datei mit den generierten Aktivierungsschlüsseln angehängt.
HCX-Connector in Ihrer VMware-Umgebung installieren
Installieren und konfigurieren Sie den HCX-Connector in Ihrer VMware-Umgebung. Folgen Sie dazu der Anleitung im VMware HCX-Nutzerhandbuch.
Bereiten Sie Ihre VMware-Umgebung für die Installation des HCX-Connectors vor.
Identifizieren Sie verfügbare IP-Adressen.
Erstellen Sie bei Bedarf vLANs/Subnetze.
Stellen Sie die HCX-Connector-OVA in Ihrer VMware-Umgebung bereit.
Verwenden Sie den zuvor heruntergeladenen Aktivierungsschlüssel und registrieren Sie Ihre HCX-Connector-Instanz bei VMware.
Konfigurieren Sie HCX-Connector.

In your Google Cloud console, go to **Private clouds** and select your private cloud.\n 2. Go to **HCX Connector Keys \\\u003e View**.\n 3. Click the copy icon content_copy to copy your key. You are responsible for storing and managing copied activation keys.\n\nIf needed, you can generate a new HCX activation key by clicking **Generate Additional Key**.\nNewly generated keys require a name and are appended to the end of the downloadable file containing generated activation keys.\n\n### Install HCX Connector in your VMware environment\n\nInstall and configure HCX Connector in your VMware environment by\nfollowing the instructions in the [VMware HCX User Guide](https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/vmware-cis/hcx/vmware-hcx/4-11/vmware-hcx-user-guide-4-11/about-the-vmware-hcx-user-guide.html).\n\n1. Prepare your VMware environment for HCX Connector installation.\n 1. Identify available IP addresses.\n 2. If necessary, create vLANs/subnets.\n2. Deploy the HCX Connector OVA on your VMware environment.\n3. Use the activation key downloaded earlier, and register your HCX Connector instance with VMware.\n4.
