Membuat VM VMware
Halaman ini menjelaskan cara membuat dan mengelola virtual machine (VM) dan kebijakan di cloud pribadi Anda menggunakan klien vSphere.
Sebelum memulai
Untuk membuat dan mengelola VM di cloud pribadi menggunakan klien vSphere, Anda
harus dapat terhubung ke cloud pribadi terlebih dahulu. Panduan memulai ini mengasumsikan
bahwa Anda telah melakukan tindakan berikut:
Membuat cloud pribadi Google Cloud VMware Engine. Anda dapat membuatnya dengan menyelesaikan
panduan memulai berikut:
Membuat cloud pribadi pertama Anda.
Buat koneksi aman dari jaringan lokal Anda ke cloud pribadi menggunakan salah satu opsi berikut:
Klik Select a project, lalu pilih organisasi, folder, atau project tempat klien vCenter berada.
Klik private cloud yang ingin Anda akses.
Di bagian Management Appliances, klik URL untuk server vCenter.
Untuk membuka klien vSphere, klik tombol Luncurkan untuk jenis klien vSphere. Untuk upload ISO, gunakan klien HTML5 vSphere.
Saat diminta, masukkan kredensial login Anda. Sebagai pengingat, Anda dapat
mengambil kredensial yang dibuat dari
halaman detail cloud pribadi.
Mengupload template ISO atau vSphere
Sediakan media penginstalan untuk VM Anda dengan mengupload file ISO atau template vSphere:
Dapatkan template ISO atau vSphere yang ingin Anda upload ke vCenter untuk
membuat VM dan menyediakannya di sistem lokal Anda.
Di vCenter, klik ikon Storage, lalu pilih vsanDatastore. Klik
Files > New Folder.
Buat folder bernama ISOs and templates.
Di folder baru Anda, klik Upload file.
Ikuti petunjuk di layar untuk mengupload ISO.
Membuat VM di klien vCenter
Buat VM baru di vCenter, dan hubungkan ke segmen jaringan workload:
Di vCenter, klik ikon Hosts and clusters.
Klik kanan Workload, lalu pilih New virtual machine.
Pilih Create new virtual machine, lalu klik Next.
Beri nama mesin, pilih lokasi Workload VM, lalu klik Next.
Pilih resource komputasi Workload, lalu klik Next.
Pilih vsanDatastore, lalu klik Berikutnya.
Tetap pilih kompatibilitas ESXi default, lalu klik Berikutnya.
Pilih OS tamu ISO untuk VM yang Anda buat, lalu klik
Berikutnya.
Pilih opsi hard disk dan jaringan.
Di bagian New CD/DVD Drive, pilih Datastore ISO file.
Pilih segmen jaringan workload yang Anda buat di NSX. Subnet ini tidak boleh
berupa subnet peralatan pengelolaan VMware Engine.
Jendela pilihan akan terbuka. Pilih file yang sebelumnya Anda upload ke folder
ISOs and templates, lalu klik OK.
Tinjau setelan, lalu klik OK untuk membuat VM.
VM ditambahkan ke resource komputasi workload dan siap digunakan. Penyiapan dasar kini telah selesai. Anda dapat menyalakan VM dan menginstal sistem operasi. Anda dapat mulai menggunakan cloud pribadi dengan cara yang sama seperti saat Anda menggunakan infrastruktur VM lokal.

In vCenter, click the **Hosts and clusters** icon.\n2. Right-click **Workload** and select **New virtual machine**.\n3. Select **Create new virtual machine** and click **Next**.\n4. Name the machine, select the **Workload VM** 's location, and click **Next**.\n5. Select the **Workload** compute resource and click **Next**.\n6. Select **vsanDatastore** and click **Next**.\n7. Keep the default ESXi compatibility selection and click **Next**.\n8. Select the guest OS of the ISO for the VM that you are creating and click **Next**.\n9. Select hard disk and network options.\n10. Under **New CD/DVD Drive** , select **Datastore ISO file**.\n11. Select the workload network segment that you created in NSX. This must not be the VMware Engine management appliances subnet.\n12. A selection window opens. Select the file you previously uploaded to the **ISOs and templates** folder and click **OK**.\n13. Review the settings and click **OK** to create the VM.\n\nThe VM is added to the workload compute resources and is ready for use. The\nbasic setup is now complete. You can power on your VM and install the operating\nsystem. You can start using your private cloud similar to how you would use your\non-premises VM infrastructure.\n\nThe following sections contain optional information about setting up DNS and\nDHCP servers for private cloud workloads and modifying the default networking\nconfiguration.\n\nConfigure other tools and products (optional)\n---------------------------------------------\n\nYou can further expand the capabilities of your private cloud environment by\ninstalling and configuring other tools and products such as\n[VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM)](/vmware-engine/docs/vmware-ecosystem/howto-disaster-recovery-srm).
