It\nincludes information on scheduling recurring jobs and supported job\nrun frequencies, and examples for scheduling a job.\n\nOverview\n--------\n\nYou can schedule your transfer jobs to run periodically, as frequently as\nevery hour. Storage Transfer Service runs an incremental transfer at\nthe frequency you specify, copying data to Cloud Storage, and recording the\nresults of the transfer in the Google Cloud Console without human intervention.\n\nYou can create or edit a transfer schedule when you\n[create](/storage-transfer/docs/create-transfers) or\n[edit](/storage-transfer/docs/manage-transfers#update-job) a transfer job.\n\nStorage Transfer Service jobs support the following interval periods:\n\n- Hours\n- Days\n- Weeks\n\nYou can elect to start the first transfer now, or at a future time.\n\nExample schedules\n-----------------\n\nThe following table presents several scheduling scenarios, and how to configure\nthe scenario in the schedule editor:\n\nIn addition to scheduling jobs at a specified time, you can\n[re-run a job](/storage-transfer/docs/manage-transfers#run-job) using the same\nconfiguration. Re-run jobs use the same configuration, but run only once.\n| **Note:** At most one operation can be active for a given job.\n| **Note:** If you schedule a job to start now and [monitor the job](/storage-transfer/docs/managing-on-prem-jobs#monitoring-jobs), the job may appear to start in the past. This is normal, and the job is running as expected."]]
