Immersive Stream for XR charges by using a pay-as-you-go model based on the configured
streaming capacity of your Immersive Stream for XR service instance. This
instance represents the maximum number of concurrent users that your experience
can support.
Pricing depends on the location of the Google Cloud regions that you are
serving the content from. For example, when you configure your instance to have
a capacity of 10 in us-central1, you start being charged at 10 times the
hourly cost found in the following table, and up to 10 users can access the
experience at the same time. You can increase or decrease the capacity at any
time and only pay for the period the capacity was configured.
Users can access both 3D and augmented reality experiences by default if your
content supports them. There is a 3D-only mode of experience available, and the
hourly cost is half of the default price. Augmented reality experiences are not
available through streaming in the 3D-only mode.
New instances are created using NVIDIA T4 GPUs by default. There is an option
to use NVIDIA L4 GPUs, which offer higher performance at an increased price. L4
GPUs are only available in some regions, and they only support the 3D-only
experience mode.
The available regions and their pricing are as follows.
