Method: datasets.create

Full name: projects.locations.datasets.create

Creates a new health dataset. Results are returned through the Operation interface which returns either an Operation.response which contains a Dataset or Operation.error. The metadata field type is OperationMetadata.

POST https://healthcare.googleapis.com/v1/{parent=projects/*/locations/*}/datasets

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
parent

string

Required. The name of the project where the server creates the dataset. For example, projects/{projectId}/locations/{locationId}.

Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource parent:

  • healthcare.datasets.create

Query parameters

Parameters
datasetId

string

Required. The ID of the dataset that is being created. The string must match the following regex: [\p{L}\p{N}_\-\.]{1,256}.

Request body

The request body contains an instance of Dataset.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of Operation.

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-healthcare
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
