Esta seção descreve como configurar seu banco de dados Oracle de origem para que o Datastream possa extrair dados dele. O Datastream pode extrair alterações de um banco de dados Oracle local ou hospedado na nuvem, incluindo o serviço de banco de dados relacional (RDS, na sigla em inglês) da Oracle.
O Datastream pode usar os seguintes métodos para consultar arquivos de registro refazer:
Leitor de registro binário (Pré-lançamento): selecione esse método se você precisar consultar arquivos de registro "redo" on-line e arquivados. Esse método é multithread e oferece suporte a CDC de baixa latência.
API LogMiner: selecione esse método se você só precisar trabalhar com arquivos de registro "redo" arquivados. O Oracle LogMiner é de linha única e pode estar sujeito a maior latência e menor capacidade. No entanto, esse método oferece suporte à maioria dos tipos de dados e recursos do banco de dados Oracle.
