Method: apps.services.versions.patch

Updates the specified Version resource. You can specify the following fields depending on the App Engine environment and type of scaling that the version resource uses:

Standard environment

automatic scaling in the standard environment:

basic scaling or manual scaling in the standard environment:

Flexible environment

automatic scaling in the flexible environment:

manual scaling in the flexible environment:

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
name

string

Name of the resource to update. Example: apps/myapp/services/default/versions/1.

Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource name:

  • appengine.versions.update

Query parameters

Parameters
updateMask

string (FieldMask format)

Standard field mask for the set of fields to be updated.

This is a comma-separated list of fully qualified names of fields. Example: "user.displayName,photo".

Request body

The request body contains an instance of Version.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Operation.

Requires the following OAuth scope:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
