Method: projects.locations.instances.upgrade

Upgrades Redis instance to the newer Redis version specified in the request.

HTTP request

POST https://redis.googleapis.com/v1/{name=projects/*/locations/*/instances/*}:upgrade

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Path parameters

Parameters
name

Required. Redis instance resource name using the form: projects/{projectId}/locations/{locationId}/instances/{instanceId} where locationId refers to a GCP region.

Required. Specifies the target version of Redis software to upgrade to.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains an instance of Operation.
