Bevor Sie die Knative Serving-Komponente der Flotte installieren können, müssen Sie zuerst Ihre Istio-Installation zu Cloud Service Mesh migrieren.
Standardmäßig enthält die vorherige Version von Knative Serving, die auch als GKE-Add-on bezeichnet wird, eine gebündelte Version von Istio und installiert diese. Es gab auch die Möglichkeit, eine alternative Version von Istio zu installieren, die offiziell als Istio on GKE bezeichnet und Istio-Add-on genannt wird.
Je nach der Version von Istio, die Sie für die Verwendung mit Knative Serving installiert und konfiguriert haben, müssen Sie die entsprechende Anleitung zur Migration zu Cloud Service Mesh befolgen:
Gebündelte Version von Istio: Die gebündelte Version von Istio wird deinstalliert, wenn Sie den Deinstallationsprozess des Knative Serving-GKE-Add-ons ausführen. Sie können jetzt mit dem Installieren und Konfigurieren von Cloud Service Mesh fortfahren.
