Method: projects.locations.collections.engines.sessions.create

Creates a Session.

If the Session to create already exists, an ALREADY_EXISTS error is returned.

The URL uses gRPC Transcoding syntax.

Parameters
parent

string

Required. Full resource name of parent data store. Format: projects/{project}/locations/{location}/collections/{collection}/dataStores/{dataStoreId}

Request body

The request body contains an instance of Session.

Response body

If successful, the response body contains a newly created instance of Session.

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/discoveryengine.readwrite
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/discoveryengine.assist.readwrite
