Video Intelligence では、動画ファイル内の人の存在を検出し、動画セグメントまたは動画セグメント全体で個人の境界ボックスを追跡できます。

動画内の人を検出するには、Video Intelligence に Video Intelligence リクエストを送信し、PERSON_DETECTION フラグを含めます。アノテーション リクエストは、動画内で検出された個人の詳細（その人物が検出された動画セグメントの場所など）を返します。アノテーション リクエストでは境界ボックスも指定できます。
さらに、人の検出では特定の体の部位（nose、left_shoulder、right_shoulder など）の場所を「ランドマーク」として検出できます。さらに、人の検出では、服の色や種類など、他の特徴も検出できます。次の表で、人の検出で識別できる特定の特性について説明します。
