This page lists the releases of the Contact Center AI Platform Web SDK.

Release 2.2 (2024-05-23)

Added support for content cards, which are a new way to control the look and feel of the chat window. Content cards include customizable components like titles, subtitles, images, buttons, text, and link embedding. Possible implementations include message boxes, carousel messages, banners, and "call to action" buttons that direct the end-user to a web page that you want to highlight.
Added support for displaying previous chats to end-users and agents. Displaying previous chats requires setting up external storage and storing chat transcripts.

Added new customization options for co-browse. This includes more flexibility in the look and feel of the co-browse consent dialog and the addition of a button to end a co-browse session.

Added support for the virtual task assistant in the chat channel.
Added a Close button to the survey screens so end-users can exit during or after a customer satisfaction question.

Added a virtual agent chat dismissal timer that will place VA chat sessions to inactive status after a configurable time period of end user inactivity
Various bug fixes and improvements

Initial version of WebSDK V2, including new events, more customization options, and a smaller download size
